Call For Entries: Bohemian Press Valentine's Day Show

Juried Bohemian Press Show - Entries due February 2nd!

"Friends with Benefits: Five Years of Bohemian Press"
Current and Bohemian alumni are encouraged to apply! 
Work can be about love, heartbreak, friendship, sex or anything loosely related! 

In the spirit of Valentines' day, Juror Couple: Michael Gaudio, Associate Professor, Art History and Kerry Morgan, Program Director at the MCAD gallery!!!

Directions! (please read):  Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces which incorporate print in some way (installation, sculpture or video proposals will be accepted if print is part of the piece) -jpegs can be no bigger than 1000 pixels on the longest side, 72 dpi (large files will not be considered) and should be sent to thebohemianpress@gmail.com -jpegs should be labeled with your last name and 01, 02 and 03 for easy organization (for example schmid01.jpg would be my first submission) -physical work should be submitted to the clean room in the print area for consideration and picked up in a timely way.

Please submit an entry with info about the pieces and your contact information. If you are leaving work, please leave a copy with your prints, if you are applying electronically, please name the document with your last name as the title: i.e. schmid.doc. Bohemian Press present and past members, alumni friends of Bohemian Press and any professors, former adjuncts or instructors in the U of M print area are welcome to apply! Please submit work- this is a great opportunity to have your work seen and to continue to build the energy that is Bohemian Press!!! (& I promise...some prizes !!!)

Bohemian Press Activate!

Hey Gang:
Meeting Thursday for Preliminary Valentine's Day Juried Show details - we have the Quarter Gallery for that week.  Bring ideas for a title, and get a sweet print going!   We need everyone to pitch in for some upcoming excitement including - but not limited to - SGC in NoLa!  See you there,
